A task order was issued by the City of Columbus to prepare design documents to replace existing deteriorated curbs and sidewalks along South 4th Street, between Morrill Avenue and Hanford Street. In addition, the City asked for various traffic calming devices to enhance pedestrian safety and reduce speeding vehicles. The design plans included decorative concrete-brick sidewalks, curbs, ADA curb ramps, chokers, drainage improvements, streetscapes, and intersection improvements.
