CEC prepared design documents for the improvement of the Lincoln Theatre area in accordance with the City’s continuing efforts to improve and rehabilitate this historical district and the surrounding neighborhood.
Phase I Design: Work included survey & SUE work; ADA curb ramps, curb, sidewalk along the east side of Hamilton Ave., the south side of Long St. (including special decorative sidewalk in front of the Theatre), and the west side of Garfield Ave.; chokers at the southeast corner of Long St. & Hamilton Ave., and southwest corner of Long St. and Garfield Ave.; pavement resurfacing; drop-off lane along the south side of Long St. between Hamilton and Garfield Ave.; drainage improvements; decorative street lighting along the south side of Long St.; rehabilitation of Lincoln Theatre parking lot; new parking lot at Long St. and 17th St.
Phase II Design: Work included survey & SUE; ADA curb ramps, curbs and sidewalks along Hamilton (north and south of Long St.), Long St., & Garfield Ave.; choker at southwest corner of Long and Hamilton; pavement resurfacing; street lighting along Long St. and along Garfield Ave.; mast arm signal (Long & Hamilton); Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon system (Long & Garfield); pavement marking and signage; utility ducts along Long St., Hamilton Ave., and Garfield Ave.; and drainage improvements. Phase II design is complete and currently under construction.
