Summary Experience:

Dr. Jang has more than 20 years of experience in designing and managing a wide variety of Transportation and Civil/Structural Engineering projects, including numerous complex bridge/roadway designs.  He is well known for his technical expertise in design automation and has been under contract to ODOT to perform R&D for Optimal Design of Earth Retaining Structures and Automated Bridge Drafting software.  He has been the driving force behind the development of the cecBRIDGE Suite software.

 

Dr. Jang serves as Project Manager for most of CEC's ODOT projects and is experienced in all technical and project development aspects.  He was Project Engineer for many sections of the complex I-670, I-71, and Spring - Sandusky Interchange projects, including 1.14 miles of mainline I-670, the I-670 & I-71 Interchange, the Fort Hayes Interchange, and the Souder Avenue Bridge over the Scioto River. He also has designed and been project manager for many rural roadway/bridge and street improvement projects.  He is a leading authority in Automated Bridge Drafting and is the author of several technical articles.
